PAC Annique

Kindergarten children all shone in their musical performance of “The Kapok Tree”, a story addressing environmental issues in a Brazilian Rainforest by Lynn Cherry. Each class represented different animals and a tribe of children who depended upon the tree for life. They had to stop the humans from chopping down the tree! KBB were the resident orchestra, explaining the story through music. KLP were a happy monkey troupe; KAP buzzing bees, and KAH birds, jaguars, snakes and monkeys of the jungle. The children definitely displayed enthusiasm, confidence, cooperation, creativity and appreciation as they worked on their “Performing Arts Celebration”. Do you think the children saved the Kapok Tree?
